When we ordered the BOB HENRY telescope we learned that shipping costs for this big dob were quite high.
Club member Steve Smith was going to be visiting California in his Gremlin.
He volunteered to pick up the scopeand bring it to us, saving the shipping costs.

I still can't believe he got that big gun into a gremlin and drove cross country with it........

Bob Henry was one of those guys that was just plain fun to be around. He never had a worry or concern or disparaging word about anybody.
He always had a smile on his face, an outheld hand, waiting for a firm handshake, and a chuckle that could warm the heart of the most cynical man.
